Finding Your
Ring Size
An engagement or wedding ring should slide over the knuckle with slight resistance and rest comfortably on the finger without spinning. Learn how to measure at home with millimeter precision, plus our complimentary 30-day resizing policy.
How to Measure at Home
Measure an Existing Ring
Select a ring that currently fits the intended ring finger comfortably. Place it flat over a ruler and measure the inside diameter in millimeters (edge to edge inside the metal, excluding the band itself).
The Paper Strip Method
Wrap a snug strip of non-stretchy paper or ribbon around the base of the finger. Mark the point where the paper overlaps with a pen. Measure the length flat against a millimeter ruler to find your finger circumference.
Secret Surprise Sizing
Borrow one of her rings for a day, press it into a bar of soap or trace the interior circle onto a piece of paper. Or enlist the help of her closest friend or sister. Remember: resizing down is always effortless.
