The 4Cs Interactive Masterclass
Standardized by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), every lab created stone is rigorously graded for Cut, Color, Clarity, and Carat weight.
Optical Fire, Scintillation & Precision Angles
A diamond's cut determines how well light enters, bounces off internal facets, and returns to your eye as brilliant flashes of white light (brilliance) and rainbow colors (fire). Lavish Designs concentrates exclusively on Ideal and Excellent cut grades.
Optimal 54-57% table width and 34–35° crown angle reflections bounce directly through the diamond's table facet.
Light escapes through the bottom pavilion or lateral facets, producing dull or lifeless dark centers.
Light entering the table is reflected across pavilion walls and returned directly upward.
Scientific Growth Methods: CVD vs. HPHT
Both cutting-edge methods yield 100% genuine Type IIa diamond crystals. Here is how advanced plasma reactors and hydraulic thermal chambers recreate tectonic perfection.
Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD)
A diamond seed crystal is placed in a vacuum depressurized chamber infused with carbon-rich gas (methane and hydrogen). Microwave energy converts the gas into energetic plasma, releasing pure carbon atoms that rain down to bond atom-by-atom onto the diamond seed.
High Pressure High Temperature (HPHT)
HPHT machines utilize multi-anvil hydraulic presses that generate 55,000 to 60,000 atmospheres of pressure (approx. 800,000+ psi) at 1,500°C. Pure carbon dissolves in a molten metal catalyst and precipitates onto a diamond seed, mirroring the mantle depth conditions 100 miles below earth.
Lab Grown vs. Earth-Mined vs. Moissanite
See how lab created diamonds align precisely with earth-mined stones in physical and optical attributes, while offering dramatic advantages over diamond simulants.

IGI & GIA Certification:
Microscopic Laser Inscription
Every Lavish Designs diamond over 0.50 ct is submitted to independent gemological authorities — the International Gemological Institute (IGI) or Gemological Institute of America (GIA). Each receives an unalterable microscopic laser inscription on the diamond's girdle matching its verifiable certificate dossier.
Cold Laser Girdle Inscription
A non-destructive inscription readable under 30x magnification confirming origin, report number, and exact carat weight.
Digital Verification Registry
Instantly cross-reference physical documentation against the official IGI and GIA global digital verification registries.
